COmplete production line and auxiliary machines for automotive muffler manufacturing
GOLIAT is a line of machines solving the complete muffler assembly manufacturing process in a wide range of dimensions and shapes – from shell forming to muffler endspinning. It is a set of state-of-the-art CNC machines capable of operating as an integrated production line with a central control system or as independent cells for each step of the manufacturing process. The GOLIAT line consists of the following machines:

  • Bodymaker WR-B – muffler shell forming machine with the WR-SF automatic sheet feeder,
  • WR-BF – shell receiver equipped with an innovative, computer controlled shell rotation system,
  • Flanger WR-F – muffler shell edge-flanging machine,
  • Inserter WR-I – internal assembly inserting machine with an inserting force control system,
  • system of pneumatic transporting devices,
  • Endspinner BERTA WR-Z – muffler endspinning machine.

Our line is characterized by its reliability and intuitive operation which guarantees a short process cycle time, as well as easy and fast changeover.

Each machine is equipped with advanced safety systems – optical barriers and covers. The line also has a standard Ethernet port for remote PLC diagnostics access.

It is possible to extend the GOLIAT line with extra capabilities according to special requirements. These options include integrating the line with auxiliary machines for extra processes, such as the so-called “side-entry” tools or our muffler end-milling machines – JAGUAR WR-FR.
